Issue during a traffic stop

Hey! Just your average, highly anxious 23 yr old female here, seeking some advice!

I work in the medical center and on my way home from work today (I live in Kingwood), I was pulled over by HPD. I was doing 75 in a 60, which is also what everyone else around me was doing as well. I thought I was going with the flow of traffic, but I guess not??? Wouldn’t be shocked if I was just singled out seeing as I was the last person in a long line of other vehicles.

Anyhow, when I was pulled over, I was in the fast lane. The cop was on the shoulder next to the fast lane. Before I even passed the cop, he turned his lights on, and literally nearly pulled out IN FRONT OF ME. It was so sudden that I did not even know that he was pulling me over – I thought he was going after someone else. He came very close to side swiping my car, so as a result, I swerved into the next lane over. He seemed agitated and began pointing out his window for me to pull over. He proceeded to give me a ticket. While I’m upset due to the fact that it’s my first ticket, I can’t be too upset because I know I was speeding. However, I’m quite frankly very upset that he almost caused an accident himself and nearly hit me. Has anyone else had this experience with HPD? If so, how do I file a complaint about it?
