ISO a salon that cuts curly hair and isn’t $$$

I'm trying to find a good hair salon to go to for a cut. The few times I've gone to a salon since moving here haven't been great, but I'm still searching for a better fit for me. People can get overwhelmed by my wild hair, one women actually gave up halfway through then charged me extra. It's pretty thick, and hard to tame, but I really need a cut! If anyone knows of a good salon that has experience with curly hair and isn't crazy expensive lmk!:)
