Is there anywhere in Houston or the greater metropolitan area away from other people & pets where I can let my (trained) dog run free for a bit?

I have a big playful dog but I’ve found other dogs at the dog parks can be sometimes be territorial or intimidated by him and sometimes act defensively. It’s never been a problem but I’d love to let him run around a bit without having to deal with others. Are there parks or other areas where we may be able to get some solo play time in from time to time? Any suggestions are appreciated.
