Is the NASA VIP tour at the Space Center worth it? (Planning husband’s 30th celebration & need advice!)

Hello all! I’m trying to plan my husband’s 30th bday and welcome any and all suggestions lol. He doesn’t really want a party and just said he’d like to spend the day together so I’m trying to plan activities for us 🤠

He is a Houston native and VERY proud of it, but he’s somehow never been to the space center, which considering how much he generally loves science seems like a crazy oversight. I am debating signing him up for the ultimate VIP tour at space center but the price tag is pretty hefty ($200 per person) and im wondering if the VIP experience is honestly worth the extra expense or is it something more cheesy that a kid may appreciate more than a grown man? I also just don’t know anyone who has done the VIP tour who can share their honest thoughts.

What do y’all thing? Worth it or is the regular tram tour good enough?
