Is the Houston zoo worth going to in june for my 19th birthday or is there something better I can do?

Idk haven’t gone since I was 7 and I thought to do something fun, chill, and lowkey. going with my friends, but is there something better I can do, not that I’m not excited to go to the zoo, but after looking at the pictures online, it seems a little dry.
