Is the Frenchys on Scott St Safe?

Just wondering, I been seeing everyone say the Frenchy's on Scott is the best one and have been wanting to visit. But I noticed its in a not so great area. So I was wondering if its safe or not?

Also, on that note, can I drive from Westheimer straight down to Scott and reach Frenchys or should I take 45 and exit on Scott?
