Is my sewer bill too high? Wondering if I have a leak somewhere

I had a running toilet in my rental house a few months ago and my water bill ran up to $400 because I was out of town a few weeks for work. Recently my water bill has been $150+ and my sewer is much more than my water consumption and its confusing. For reference it is a 1,400 sqft house, I'm a single guy and live alone with my dog, I don't use the toilet 50 times a day, and i do have a garden.
