Is Lagoonfest Texas Worth it?

Family is visiting from out of town and they’re excited about exploring the city and potentially going swimming, since they love the water.

I’ve heard such a mix of reviews from people for Lagoonfest. Has anyone gone recently and can give some honest feedback?

For reference, we’re all adults so no kids, and planned to get a cabana.
