Is Klein area a good place to buy a first home for a young family?

Found a house me and the wife love in spring (slightly west of 45 just before 99) so moreso Klein area. Getting close to closing but wondering if I’m making the right choice. Zoned to Klein ISD and it’s an older quiet neighborhood close to her family. Always wanted my first house to be an investment that can appreciate in value so wondering is this area a decent place to invest in? I work in the med center but we’re right by 45 and the toll road and totally understand the drive will suck but plenty of other hospitals around I can work for and it’s actually shorter then my current drive from deep in cypress. We thought about cypress but I honestly just don’t see myself living there. What do you all think?
