Is Jose Abreu the worst free-agent signing in franchise history?

So, maybe slightly pre-emptive post here, given that we're "only" in May of year 2/3 in his contract. However, given that his production outside of 1 ALDS series has been lackluster with no sign of getting better, can we start evaluating if this is maybe the worst signing the Astros have ever made?

There's definitely other contracts that haven't panned out. Carlos Lee was given 6/100m and never had a team around him to compete, Kazuo Matsui was never the Biggio replacement he was signed to be, but I'd argue the AAV and the sheer drop off in production for Abreu is enough to net this as our worst.

Year 1 netted him an OPS+ just above one of the worst hitters in the league in Maldonado, and tied with a struggling/injured Jake Meyers. His position in the lineup netted him a nice 90 RBI, but still not hitting well enough to justify the price tag.

What do you think? Is there a worse one?
