Is Johnathan Joseph still with the Texans on a Coaching Fellowship?
I hope he's back to work with the new additions. His mentorship and coaching throughout training camp did wonders for Stingley. Having him back to work with the new additions as they face this filthy offense in training camp would be incredible for this secondary
Joseph spent time with Derek Stingley Jr., who is expected to take on more man coverage assignments in his second season. Ryans recently spoke about the impact Joseph has had and expressed his appreciation for the fellowship.
“It’s been great having Johnathan Joseph around,” said Ryans. “I think he’s been really instrumental in helping our young defensive backs, especially working with Stingley. And him just being able to relate.
“He’s been in that position, he understands what it looks like, he understands what it takes to be a really great player.”
“Oh yeah, he’s talking to me almost every play,” Stingley said. “It means a lot because he’s played a long time in the league, so if you’re playing a long time, that means you’re doing something right. So, anytime he’s got something to say, I’m listening.”
