Is it usual for IAH to be so empty on Saturday?

I had a flight from Houston to Orlando at 9:20 pm I arrived at 7 pm and have just boarded the flight and to my surprise from the moment I got dropped off to the check in counter and security, the airport is basically dead. What’s going on? Why is no one flying out today
