Is it rude to walk my dog in front of someone’s house?

I walk my dog in my neighborhood that has no side walks. During our walks I let her smell all she wants and she lingers in a spot for a couple of minutes before moving on, and sometimes it’s in front of someone’s house. Is it not acceptable? I don’t let her get on someone’s yard it’s usually in front of their house by the ditch.
