Is it normal for Houston delivery drivers to give your package to the front office of apartments instead of delivering to your door?

It’s so dam annoying having to go to the front office every time you get a package, I see everyone else gets their package conveniently delivered to their door. Especially in today’s day and age (not to mention with the pandemic). Also, companies often ship your stuff in different packages and you look like a fool going to the front office everyday to pick up your package.

Is it just my apartment or others as well? My previous apartment, they deliver STRAIGHT to your door.

As far as I know, my apartment doesn’t require them dropping off at the front office – I think the drivers are just lazy. I put delivery instructions on my packages.
