Is it because of the influx of people? I’m having a hell of a time getting into specialists

Born and raised here so I know it’s never been super easy to get into specialists but usually it’s a few weeks out. Now it’s 3-6 months out

It doesn’t seem to matter if it’s something major or minor either.

I need a GOOD endocrinologist, I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. I subsequently had my thyroid removed and am on meds for life and they need adjusting.

Kiddo I know still has a soft spot at 2.5 and needs to see a specialists over that. The soonest she can get in is DECEMBER of this year via Texas children’s. Same kiddo also needs to see an endocrinologist and the soonest appointment for her is August.

Is this the new normal?
