Is hiring a lawyer for traffic violation worth it? *Involved in an Accident*
Hello Houston, I fucked up bad. On 06/06 I was involved in an accident on the feeder road. I rear ended a woman & she rear ended the guy in front of her as a result since we were going at least 40mph. I was found at fault & at the scene was issued a citation for failure to maintain control. I thought I got very lucky, but, what I didn't anticipate was them adding on to the citation after the initial incident. I received a letter in the mail notifying me of the arraignment & they added a citation for not having a license. I had my license revoked a while ago, paid my warrants, & just never tried to get it back because i'm irresponsible & kept putting it off. This is my first traffic ticket in 10 years, & my first wreck ever. Is it worth it to pay a lawyer to get this taken care of or should I just take what they give me? If I should get a lawyer, any recommendations? So far, the only firm I've heard about what Sullo & Sullo & I was honestly probably going to hire them since no one i've talked to seems to have experience w/any other firm.
