is driving through red lights the new norm now?

My God! The amount of people I see driving through red lights in this city is frustrating and scary! One guy earlier today drove around the cars at the light just to drive through the intersection. Another one yesterday drove through the red light, but luckily it was a cop behind him when he did it.
