Is CityPlace (Spring) development failing?

After 8 years I guess I expected more. Exxon, HP, and Southwestern Energy relocated there but it’s still empty. Only 2 residential neighborhoods, 1 suitable for families and zoned to Spring ISD yikes! Exxon campus for 10K employees but they only get half that and trying to lease out half their campus. The movie theater and CVS are so depressing. So much office space remains unleased.

Traffic is awful too. Been working here a month and mornings suck but afternoons are worse. Going 45N the feeder backs up with traffic exiting for Rayford/Sawdust and traffic trying to get on 45N at the same spot. No easy access to GP going East and going West is terrible traffic. Takes 10-15 minutes to get onto GP.

The area is just crap. If you’re moving that far North, might as well go the extra 5 miles and office or live in The Woodlands.
