Is anyone on this sub a Colorado transplant? (Moved from CO to TX)

I’m currently in Denver and really love it here, but the housing prices are getting to be on the edge of my “what I’d want to pay for a townhouse” budget and I’m fantasizing of other places I want to move.

So, as the title suggests, would love to hear some experiences of people who moved from CO/Utah to Texas. Specifically folks who love the outdoors and the lifestyle of Colorado but couldn’t afford to stay any more.
