Is anyone else’s home humidity way higher than outside?

I live in a 3 story home inside the loop and have a Google nest thermostat on my third floor. The humidity percentage is almost always reading in the 70s. Lately we even notice it smells musty inside when we come home from being away for a while.

Today, it’s showing 75% despite the AC running all day and it’s barely 53% humidity outside according to the weather app. Is ~70/75% humidity normal in your homes or is it just me??
