Is an artificial mountain in Houston possible?
So alot of us often get bored from the lack of elevation diversity, me included. So what if an artificial mountain was built? I'm talking big, like huge. Something like the Franklin mountains in El Paso for reference. It would most likely be in the west/southwest area near Cinco Ranch/Sugar Land since that's where the most space is. Build it near those two, and connect roads.
I'd imagine it would be very cool, and many people would want to develop on top of it. It would also probably be the most expensive property in the entire Houston metro area save for maybe River Oaks. There would also be more economic development for Houston as well, and add a stark change of scenery in the southwest side. It should be covered with trees and winding roads, as well as a mall and public spaces for people to congregate.
I can't be the only one who thinks this is a good idea, right?
