Is a $90k-105k salary enough to be comfortable in Houston?

I graduate from college in 2 weeks and I have a job offer from a bank based in NYC but they have a Dallas and Houston office as well. NYC is great and it's the pinnacle of where finance jobs are, but I have heard great things about Dallas and Texas overall.

I'm considering Houston and Dallas because they're big cities, but compared to NYC, the cost of living is lower. That said, is a $90k-105k salary enough in Dallas, TX to be comfortable?

I hope to find a 1BR or Studio apartment at $2000/month, I do have a car that is halfway paid off, and I do not have any student loans.

What do you guys think?
