Is a 1hr15 layover in IAH enough time?

Hi,

I'm doing my first solo trip and I'm flying from the UK to Costa Rica, with a 1hr15 transfer in IAH. Will this be enough time to transfer? I will only have hand luggage, so no checked bags in the hold. Also do you know what I can expect when transferring – e.g.- going through customs, immigration etc.
