Is 2025 Houston Summer a fluke or the norm for the locals?

We moved here from NYC last year right before summer, and had a "proper" Houston summer experience; it was what we were told about Houston's summer was going to be like.

But this year's Summer has been relatively cool, and there are dozens of days when it's cooler than NYC's summer. O_O

If this summer is going to be the normal summer for Houston, I think Houston summer aren't so bad afterall!
