Is 13.9 cents/kWh for 60 months worth locking in right now?
We just recently moved to Houston for a job. I'm looking at electricity providers and am seeing 13.9 cents/kWh, fixed for 60 months for 1000 kWh/month. With how expensive everything is right now, is this worth locking in for 60 months, or should I wait until fall/spring to recheck rates and see if prices come down? It's the cheapest I'm seeing and with how uncertain things are looking in the near term I'm tempted to just sign up for it. TIA!
