Investigation into state calculation leads to expected refunds for Texas school districts, including Conroe ISD
The Conroe ISD board of trustees on Dec. 3 discussed the district’s preliminary 2025-26 budget as well as news that Texas public school districts will receive a refund of money based on value lost due to Senate Bill 12 from the state following a calculation error on the state’s part.
