Interlock installation

I'm looking for information on a reliable electrician for installing a interlock so that I can hook up a backup generator (50 amp) to the house, when, you know… winter. Based on information on this sub, I called Strike Electrical and got a quote of $975 pre tax. Does this sound a bit high? Also tried Jerry Carroll based on again info on this sub. No one picked up. Left a message and didn't receive call back.
