Interesting Houston Wedding Venues

My partner and I are getting married next spring, and we're looking for some interesting, affordable wedding venues. We've focused on something like a brewery or something like that (St. Arnolds, Buffalo Bayou Brewing, etc.), not something super fancy and with lots of room to spread out for ~150 guests.

To clarify, we're both guys and in our late 30's/early 40's and aren't too worried about hosting a Bridesmaids-style ~perfect~ wedding. We will have a lot of out of towners coming, so keeping it as central to the inner loop as possible is preferable. If anyone has been to an interesting venue or has thoughts, we'd really appreciate it!
