Inquiring mind with a question (or questions) regarding a local woman who lived here in Houston around 1981-1982

To begin with, please save any unnecessary flak you wish to provide. I am well aware of the unlikelihood that someone may have actually known this woman; however, I have a few unstated questions that may not be as hard to answer and I don’t see the problem with trying to see if there is anyone out there who may have known her.

The woman? Cynthia Reno. She would have been in her late twenties, long brownish/black hair, small in stature and weight. I have information that she lived somewhere on Airline rd, perhaps in a motel or motel(s). In particular, one that seems to be located on 02808 or 2808 Airline road. Though I am unsure of what exactly it was called in the 80s, today it is called “Fiesta Inn.”

If you’re familiar with that area of Houston, particularly in the late 70’s to early 80’s, what was it like? I have read that prostitution was particularly prevalent during that time. In this subreddit, I have read a few posts regarding the area as well. What drew people to this area of town? Were you in the area during this time and for what reasons (if you feel so kindly inclined to detail them)? Was this motel under a different name? Etcetera! Go crazy.

Also, does R.L.Doyle or J.W.Ellis ring any bells here?
