Info on why Hughie’s moved from N Main?

It’s been a few weeks, but I am still mourning the loss of Hughie’s on N Main, largely as that was my semi-healthy walkable go to when it’d been a long day. I have eaten so much shaking shrimp since I moved down the street, and all of their food is great.

So I can be internally mad at the appropriate people every time I drive by their old location, does anyone know why Hughie’s closed their North Main restaurant?

As the Admiral Motel next door was torn down shortly before Hughie’s moved, I was wondering if that strip center was also coming down but there’s a for lease sign out front now so apparently that’s not happening. If it was a rent dispute I’d think it was a significant one as that location was always doing good business.
