In-State Tuition Help? (Future optometry student coming from out-of-state)
Hello!
I'll be getting ready to head to University of Houston for optometry school from the West Coast. While I'm aware I'll probably have to wait for a year of sorts to apply for in-state tuition, I have a question about that.
I was confused about whether I had to register my vehicle and change my driver's license over to Texas from my state to qualify for in-state tuition. I was reading that I didn't have to do so if I wanted to remain as a student, but I am confused whether I had to do this to qualify for in-state tuition.
If I don't have to do this, what could I present to apply for this benefit? I was reading that it could be utility bills since I have my own apartment in the state.
Thank you very much!
