In search of music store selling unfinished guitar body

Trying to customize a guitar as a Christmas gift and am wondering if anyone knows of a music/guitar shop in town that sells sanded, unfinished bodies? I know they’re available from online retailers but wanna get a feel for what I’m looking for in person if possible.
