Jeremy Peña was brought up at the beginning of the 22-23 season. Despite otherwise batting .253 with 22 HRs in the regular season, Mauricio Dubón (.214 5 HRs) made over 80% of the starts at SS. Jeremy Peña would DH sometimes if in the lineup at all. This was justified but Dubón being more of a “team player” who “does his homework.” But something like that would never happen, right?
