Immigration Checkpoints from Denver to Houston??

Hello everyone,

Planning on taking my in laws to a soccer game in Houston (NRG Stadium) from Denver. Will be about a 15hr drive and staying like 4 days but we are concern about any potential immigration checkpoints and maybe get in trouble? they gave them form I-220A when they entered the US. Are we ok to travel this way?
