IMHO- If Watson is traded he will be in the same situation he is in now. That’s why all this is about leverage.

Whatever team decides to trade for Watson has to give up so much draft capital and probably key players. Said team would likely give up years of first round draft picks, have to take on Watson‘s contract, and give up young talent. Pretty much the exact same scenario that the Texans are in right now. He may Be under a new owner that he likes and respects,but the on field product would be largely the same.
