I’m too scared to drive and I know I have to get over it soon but I can’t

I’m a student at UH and I don’t drive. I have severe anxiety which doesn’t make me a good candidate for Houston roads. Everyone in this city also gets mad if you’re going the speed limit/driving safely and they’ll honk at you because you’re not speeding like them. Like idk what to do because I know a big step in independence is having a car and driving but what do I even do in a place like this where s**t is genuinely like a fast and furious movie. I feel behind in life because of this, and I hate my anxiety
