I’m not even mad. Just sad, sad, sad.

CJ got concussed, half our players got injured at some point in the game, we lose by a hair again. I’ve said I would stop caring as much about Ws and Ls, but there’s nothing to take away from the game at all. No rookie standouts, momentum completely gone because our QB got knocked out, and atrocious execution on the 1 yard line. If this is how we play in crucial situations we aren’t making it far until that changes. 3 wins means that the first 4 picks are already pretty out of reach, and knowing us we’ll try vainly to dig out of the hole and end the season 8-9 or 7-10. The best OL will be gone and we’ll have to settle (no pun intended). We might get a good player but they’ll likely be on defense. We’re not a bad team, but also not a good team and probably one of the worst to watch in the league. And next year we won’t even have the defense for granted anymore, Hunter will probably leave and our edge will regress to simply above average with WAJ. I’ll keep hoping Noel, Higgins or Marks develops into a top 10 player in the league but it’s not gonna happen because they’ll get no touches and our OL will hold us back anyway, if not our terrible red zone play.
