I’m a server and I go back to work today

I was scheduled for 5 shifts this upcoming week. Manager told me if I refused the hours I would be ineligible for unemployment. Problem is I live with a high risk individual (mom). What’s my best recourse here? I’m going to talk to her today and see if she can schedule me less. Any advice I can get on here on what best to do about this particular situation?
