I’m 28 and don’t know how to make friends

I’ve lived here my whole life and I have a few close friends but as my age increases I seem to lose touch with more and more people. I’m into a bunch of nerdy hobbies and niche things that should bring me a lot of friends but there’s not a tinder for friendships. How do you guys find friends? For instance I’m really into Dungeons & Dragons and high fantasy in general. I’m also an aspiring horror movie director and film my own shorts. I love music especially like emo and metal and all their sub genres. I’m a big wrestling fan. I love anime and comic books. I feel like between all these nerd subcultures I’m a part of I should be able to find like minded people but I don’t even know where to look or what to do when I get there.

This is probably not the right sub for this but hey maybe some of you can point me in the right direction or maybe even some of you are into something I’m into and also looking for some new friends. Either way thanks for reading my plea.
