If Jordan Love is available for a trade, the Texans should give up a 4th or 5th round pick

I think if we could get Jordan Love for a 4th or 5th round pick, that would be a quality trade for us. I don’t want to trade our 3rd round pick because that’s essentially a second round pick.

If Love pans out, we have a QB for the future and could use the following draft on the rest of the roster and be set for the future. If he doesn’t pan out, then we will get a top 3 pick again and draft our rookie QB of the future. We wouldn’t be tied to Love beyond this year no matter what happens, so it could make a lot of sense to try and go this route instead of drafting a QB destined for failure given how bad our roster is.
