If it weren’t for Jack Easterby, would Watson still be on the Texans?

This thought just came to me. If y’all remember Deshaun first got pissed and requested a trade when Cal went against the search committee, Deshaun, and his advisors by hiring Caserio and Culley because of Easterby. The allegations came a few months later and Deshaun had already demanded a trade. If Cal had hired another GM (who would’ve fired easterby) and HC that was more well received, would we have held on to Watson? Might be the one silver lining of Easterby.
