If David Johnson failed the physical … would it launch an investigation?

Real question : Say for argument sake that OBrien was told my McNair to fail this physical and undo the trade.

From what I’ve read the physical is basically at the discretion of the team, using a team doctor. So there is no set parameters that have to be met to fail or pass a physical.(this is probably wrong).

If he failed it would be HUGE news and people would all (rightly) cry fowl. Would this launch and investigation and would there be any recourse from the league to force the trade? Or would it be too late at that point and void the trade?
