If Caserio really is leading the charge for the next HC, I think we’ll be okay.

While I hate Jack Easterbitch with every fiber of my being, Caserio seems like he knows what he's doing so far.

1. He said that Deshaun will be an integral part of the process of hiring the new HC and that he is starting the process over, so new interview requests should be going out this week.

2. When asked about JJ Watt's contract, he said he's gonna take a deeper look at the team over the next 2 months and then make a decision on what the team needs. This leads me to believe he(as well as I think everyone) believes Watt's 17.5 mill non-guaranteed price tag next year is too steep. If he can restructure that down, make it guaranteed and maybe add an extra year, that'd be a terrific move imo

3. Underated move and not very significant, but he cut Greg Mancz a couple days ago so that he could go sign with the ravens for their playoff push. That sounds like a guy who cares about his players to me.

Some solid stuff out of Caserio so far. Cal just needs to apologize to D4 and then stay out of the fuckin way.
