IAH Was a Total Zoo Today! Guy Got Tased for Jumping the Line, and No More Flights After 8pm or Tomorrow. People Going Crazy.

So, today was a total mess at IAH. I got to Terminal C with an hour and 15 minutes to spare, feeling pretty chill because I have Premier Access, and that line is usually quick. But as soon as I walk in, I see a guy literally getting tased and arrested right in front of the Premier Access line.

Then, TSA decides to shut down the entire Premier Access line, and they redirect everyone to the regular line, which was already out the door. At this point, I realize there’s no way I’m making my flight if I stay in that line.

So, I make a run for the underground train to Terminal B, thinking I can go through security there and hop back to Terminal C. I end up leading this little group of people who had no idea the underground train even existed. I felt like a tour guide or something.

Anyway, while all this is happening, I hear what went down with the guy who got tased. Apparently, he tried to jump the line at security, full-on skipping everyone. TSA didn’t play around, and that’s how things escalated. Honestly, he seemed like he wasn’t all there, which was kind of sad.

Meanwhile as I’m on the underground another guy is getting medical attention in the hall between Terminal C and Terminal B. I hope he’s okay but also just another example of the total mayhem occurring at IAH today.

By the time I finally got through security, I heard that all flights after 8 PM were closing, and the whole airport was basically a madhouse. Somehow, I made my flight, but it was definitely one of the wildest airport experiences I’ve had. (I was sweating so much at this point a random Australian lady gave me a pocket fan)

If you’re flying through IAH today, good luck, you’re gonna need it! Also, learn where the underground train is. Trust me, it’s a lifesaver.
