IAH to SYD Flight. Thoughts?

Has anyone here done the direct United Sydney, Australia flight from Houston? I’ve been to Australia before so I’m familiar with the long haul flight, but never out of Houston or with United. I might be going back to Sydney next year and I’m curious if it’s just better to go through LAX again with a different airline or if United out of Houston is also ideal. Any thoughts on the seats, price, service, etc please share?!
