IAH terminals C/D/E in IAH need an extra hour of travel time?

I’m flying out of IAH tomorrow morning and planned to get to offsite parking by 7:45 or so (flight is at 10). IAH website says they recommend building in an extra hour of travel time going to terminals CDE because of roadwork. Has anyone found this to be accurate? I know it’s better to be too early than too late, but just wondering if I really need to go a whole hour earlier if I’m taking a shuttle.
