IAH question (sorry!)

My husband and I are flying out on two different trips tonight. We thought we were being smart because they’re both United and leave within 5 minutes of each other… but I’m out of C and he’s out of E. Where should we have the Lyft drop us off? I am checking a bag and he isn’t. We always use Hobby so we aren’t really sure what’s the best option, especially with the chaos that is IAH construction traffic nonsense.
