IAH international passenger pickup

Hi, I came to IAH couple of months back to pickup someone from international arrivals. I parked in Garage C and took train to terminal E. But when I was getting out it took me 1 hr to get out of the parking area.

Where do you suggest to park when picking up someone from IAH? Is there any other convenient short term parking just for pickup purpose? I had to receive them from arrivals area so cellphone lot is not an option.
