IAH arrival parking

My wife arrived today from an international trip, tracking showed her flight would land about 10:50pm so I planned to get there 10:30 with my son and park, go inside and wait for her. Did you guys know they have restricted the parking and don't allow you to, with no mention of this anywhere? Nothing on the website, no signs around the airport. Luckily I can just hang out at C arrivals but good lord this is annoying.
