I was in a terrible accident downtown houston and the lady ran a red light speeding with no insurance

I’ve never been in an accident before, unfortunately over the weekend a lady ran a red light speeding and slammed into my vehicle sending us rolling, my car ended up sideways on the road and it’s completely totaled out and me and my friend are lucky to be alive. I’m traumatized and stressed with the next steps and i want this resolved and need a new car. What i’m hearing is my car will be covered and payed off by my own insurance (full coverage and uninsured drivers), but what about me getting another car?? I don’t just have enough to put another down payment and start all over with car payments. i’ve been told i need to find an attorney and sue, and that’s kind of where i am at. i’m 22 and would really appreciate any advice or attorneys suggestions and i’m worried about being scammed/ losing money. please and thanks.
